Summary
Odysseus, finally safe in Ithaca, copes with the aftermath of his time on Ogygia.
It’s been months, over half a year at the least, but he isn’t able to do the one thing that he dreamt about doing nonstop for over twenty years. Odysseus tears his eyes from his wife, staring up at the ceiling when frustrated tears prick at the corners of his eyes. He is infuriated with himself, his body and mind at war with one another.
