Summary
"Uncle, read me another story?" A little girl asked, giving a little yawn.
The man looked amused at his pink-haired darling. Uncle moved strands of hair out of his niece's face, the girl grasping him back with her own hands, bringing his hand to her cheek as she giggles.
"Another?" He asked back. "I have already told you two. Are you sure you can stay awake for another one?" He exaggeratedly lifts his eyebrow, playing along.
The girl just giggled back at Uncle, "Of course I-" she lets out another yawn, this time mid-sentence. "Of course I can. You still haven't told me the story with the King and the Rancher."
Uncle lets out a sigh, he rubs his chin in thought. "I guess I haven't... What's the problem with one more story?"

Loosely based off "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" where there is quite a few changes made.

He picked up a slightly big stone and threw it with his small hands at the head of the huge beast, screaming at the top of his lungs to attract the beast's attention.
Of course, it also attracted the Duke’s attention as well.
“Wha—?!”
“Come here you ugly big fur! I’m much tastier than that man!”

Summary
Blue is all he can see when he first wakes. The water.
Then red. The scars.
And, finally, green. The eyes smiling uncertainly at him, and the hand reaching out.
His journey to saving Hyrule may be as wild as the winding road, but there's a comfort to be found in brotherhood. And maybe even a place to call home, when the battle is finally over.
