Summary
Not all men were created equal. This was a lesson Dara learned very quickly. Born and bred in the crime littered streets of the Undercity, she understood from a young age there were certain rules you live by to survive.
Despite her hardships, she had managed to carve a place for herself. It was small, and fragile, but it was hers. A mentor she looked up to. A group of hard-headed children who fostered countless heart attacks. And a woman with a voice made of gold that weakened her knees and slithered past her defences. And tightly woven in it all, the silent ghost of a brother whose legacy she could never up to.
An inevitable war threatened the foundations of all she'd built. Shadows in the street whispered of an old phantom, coming to reclaim all he'd lost. Control of the Undercity was a constantly tipping scale. Unwillingly, Dara had found herself in the middle of a power struggle she never saw coming. And faced with the stinging heartache of betrayal. She must choose whether to survive, or become another ghost lost to the Undercity's cruelty.
