They took him from his sea, bound him in silver, took away his voice and put him in a tank to become entertainment to the royals of Redania. He’s been reduced to an quiet, defenceless creature, to be gawked and laughed at. And now he might die at the hands of a Witcher. Is it bad that he longs for it? For finally being at peace?
When the Warlord of the North overthrows several kingdoms, all of Redania is desperate to please him. They send him the biggest gift of all. A Siren without a voice.

Summary
Everything is still how it's supposed to be, Geralt can't sleep and Jaskier being chatty and Geralt says "It's like ordering a pie and finding it has no filling," and then the Djinn. But instead of finding the scary, powerful yet also beautiful Yennefer, someone else was there to help Jaskier from the Djinn. Someone from another world, someone who is, too, powerful and magical, and different from everyone and everything else from the Continent.
"You know, Geralt, you could take her up there." Geralt grunted at the brunette opposite him, with a cut on his lip and his cheek swollen. "Fuck. You sure the witch is just a sorceress?"
"Hm. Also a bard. She says."

He's deep into his recovery, working as an Avenger, moving toward building the rest of his life. When he sees her, Brooke, the reason he no longer was being electrocuted and forced to kill for Nazis. Only she was not dancing happily at a club, or reading in the park. She was in a Hydra base, sat in a sanitized room with needles stuck in her arms, head drooped chin to her chest.
She had saved him. Now it was his opportunity to return the favour.
