Summary
Gravity Falls is the same as it ever was, a haven for the weird. Dipper Pines grew up there, an only child abandoned by a family that didn’t know him and that he didn’t know. He considered that for the best, his home was the only place he’d ever wanted to be.
Mabel Pines on the other hand, grew up similarly alone in a place much less accepting of other’s eccentricities. Stuck feeling that something important was missing from her life.
That will all change soon though, as she runs away on a quest to chase down and befriend the long lost twin brother she didn’t know she had.

For a moment she could not describe, nor even remember quite well after the fact, Pomni saw the void in her eyes. She saw through everything, as the world fell away. The void became all that remained. As if in her overwhelming panic she had somehow flipped to the complete other side of the spectrum. Just herself floating there in nothing. As if when she took everything in, Pomni was almost forced to understand that there was nothing to take in at all.

“Allow me to tell you…a story,” the thing wearing a child’s skin says. The words sound like they’ve been dragged through concrete, but its smile is a little less malicious and a little more hollow. That’s…maybe good?
Sans shrugs.
“sure. i love stories. this one have a happy ending?”
It grimaces through that pinned-on smile. Its eyes are flat and dead.
“That remains to be seen,” it mutters. It shrugs its shoulders, squirms a little bit. Trying to get comfortable in skin that it doesn’t belong in.
“It’s a story about some kid who freed all the monsters,” it says. “They’re…they’re a…good…they’re…”

Summary
A full, linear, self-contained Gwenpool AU, starting with Gwen being mentored by Bullseye instead of MODOK and Batroc. Some may bleed back into canon elements, but that's just her powers being a little messy.
Oh, yeah. The Powers Thing. Instead of sticking to the comic-based powers she has developed, this version of Gwen has a completely different yet familiar set of skills, derived off the written medium style of fanfiction. Its a learning curve for her to figure it out, but she manages in the end.
