Thurok was the youngest orc ever to become chief of his clan, defeating the old chieftain in single combat the same day as his coming of age ceremony. He was a terror on the field, a stalwart defender who came to be called The Stoic by his followers, for neither the most beautiful orc nor the most splendidly crafted axe would turn his expression to anything other than dim approval.
