"Will you sit with me?" The words come out quiet; defeated.
For a moment, Shouta almost expects All Might to leave. He shuffles on his feet, glancing anxiously towards the distant crowd. Shouta holds his breath; he doesn't realise it until All Might ducks into the cover of darkness beside him when it leaves him in a rush.
The Symbol of Peace sits down beside him, tucking his legs up against his chest. He rests his hands on his knees. It’s like he's trying to take up as little space as possible. Shouta bites back a pointed comment. It won't benefit either of them.

The tattered and frayed condition of the man's old infinity scarf hadn't escaped his noticed all these months, and he is determined to make him the softest, warmest, most handsome replacement he can. But as he's knitting in the back of the vendor stall where he sells his oranges at the Sunday Market, an unexpected visitor arrives to nearly ruin the surprise altogether.

This is a companion ficlet to celebrate the one year anniversary of Blood Orange! One year ago today, I posted the very first chapter, and boy has it snowballed. I can't believe a year has passed already! Anyway, this is just a fluffy little December vignette. I hope you enjoy it.
NOTE TO NEW READERS: This is a little spoilerish, and the text assumes that you've read the main fic, too, so there are a few bits that will make a lot more sense if you're familiar with the main story. That being the case, I do recommend reading the long fic first, at least as far as the Christmas chapters.

"Do I- What?" he sputters when he's able. He can't have heard that right. It's unthinkable.
“Do you want to get married?” Shouta repeats.
