Summary
Nine years have passed since the Legendary Warriors saved the Digital World. Nowadays Takuya and his friends fight with exams and everyday life instead of evil digimon - that is until the reappearance of the spirits. Now they have to find the Chosen Children and fight against new and old enemies.
Seven years have passed since Tai and his friends came back from the Digital World, five since his little sister and her friends saved it for a second time. They had thought that the Digimon could finally live in peace but now they are falling ill and no one can seem to figure out why.

Rain or moving water in general has negative ions which reduce stress and can even work as antidepressants. Due to electronics and recirculated air we spend most of our times surrouned by positive ions. Rain or spending time around moving water (eg. Waterfalls) gives us a chance to experience an environment with negative ions in the air.

Summary
The End of the World has come and gone, the Noah destroyed along with two-thirds of the human population. Innocence have crumbled into dust, which is deeply unpleasant for the Parasitic types, but things have sucked for the Parasitic types for years, so at least they're well-adjusted.
The same cannot be said for Lavi the now part-time Bookman, because there's not a heck of a lot to record when most of the world's gone, and Kanda 'I can die when I'm dead' Yuu, who is not handling a fully-mortal body very well.
