In its purest form, terror was something to behold. Most people went their entire lives feeling only an ounce of the horrifying realization, one that took root in your deepest fears. Terror was a misunderstood emotion. It was the epitome of fear, the multiplier that kicked you in the gut and left scars on who you were.
Naruto had once been one of the naïve people that believed terror was something you could get over with time. But terror was more than that. Naruto learned that at a young age.There was a time when Naruto wore a grin that battled the fierce glares all around her, her eyes lit with unimaginable life. There had been a time when she could look at any situation with optimism. That time vanished along with the innocence of her childhood when her worldview shattered on a fateful snowy night. She grew to only allow very few people into her heart, allowing her to meet the one person who would change everything for her.
Kabuto stood as someone she was fond of, and with him came another. A man who changed her view of the world and her village for years to come. Sasori of the Red Sand became her guiding light, her teacher. He taught her what it meant to be a ninja when the world was against you.
