Summary
Kicked out of an abusive home, Pascal has nowhere he can turn. That is, until he hears about Team Rocket giving one free Pokémon to all new recruits. A Pokémon... That would change everything. He could finally make money of his own, maybe even challenge the gyms someday!
He's assigned to Mt Moon with his beloved new Rattata, and it all seems like a dream come true.
His world comes crashing down when a small child named Red singlehandedly demolishes the entire operation. Suddenly, he's thrust into lies and politics, tales of eugenics and of manipulations that lead straight into the corrupt heart of Kanto.

Summary
In the ruins of the Unova region, humanity is extinct and Pokémon society flourishes. The old cities are uninhabitable mazes, sprawling and dangerous, and Pokémon live in their own specialised settlements.
A small band of traders work to pass supplies between these settlements since Mistralton's cargo planes no longer exist. They face extreme weather conditions, bandit attacks and the knock-down effects of self-destructive political maneuvering from Pokémon far more important than they are.

When Ingo shows up after six years with a kid and a new team of Pokémon in tow, Emmet is beyond thrilled, so thrilled he’s willing to ignore all Ingo’s new oddities. Ingo didn’t think his illusion was all that convincing but he’s starting to think he can get away with this without anyone noticing. He knows it won't last forever though. Ingo really doesn’t know how he’s going to explain to his brother that he’s actually an extinct type of Zoroark.
Or, Ingo dies and comes back as a Zorua, has to figure out how to make a convincing illusion of himself, and returns to the present.
