The Mighty Nein are exploring a cave near the underdark, mapping the area for a contract and looking for a mysterious magical artifact Caleb has read will be in the area. Monsters are showing up in places they shouldn't be, and something is strange about them. The group gets attacked-- yet again-- while trying to camp, and Caleb gets separated from the party by rocks and toxic gas.

Summary
Vox Machina and allies return to Whitestone, reeling and shaken after the events in the Sunken Tomb. While Vex seems to be handling her brush with death quite well, all things considered, Percival's guilt is eating him alive. Vax still doesn't know that it was his fault. The man that he has loved for so long, has no idea that he killed his sister... Percy never dared to hope that his love would be returned, which was why he had always kept it to himself. But he can't keep this from Vax. He has to tell him the truth, and just hope that their friendship can survive... he can't bear to lose Vax from his life...
Vax hits him. Percy can take that. But... then he hits him again. And again... and again and again and-- he doesn't stop. Not until Percy is barely conscious. Only then does Vax leave him. But worse than the physical blows, Vax's words shatter the heart of the Lord of Whitestone, and rob him of his will to live...
Now Vax must race against time to try and mend a broken heart, and fix the damage he caused that was far worse than what Percy had done to Vex'ahlia...

Summary
Percy knows he rambles quite a bit in his prayers to Poseidon, but at least he is safe in the knowledge that Poseidon is too busy of a god to ever really listen… right?
Meanwhile, Poseidon is trying to be a responsible god, but Sally Jackson keeps praying to him about their son and Annabeth Chase won't shut up about... what was she even talking about? At least the di Angelo kid keeps giving him McDonalds.

Summary
Mollymauk Tealeaf is back, lots of things are different though.
So instead of taking the short cut to bring them back, everyone in the Nein, along with Marion and The Gentlemen, take care of the tiefling.
Healing takes time and love, two things the Nein certainly don't lack.
With that effort, Molly is able to properly rejoin the Nein's adventures along with joining the Family of Crystals as their little amethyst.

TLDR: EP 140 rewrite and continuation with wholesome Mighty Nein as Family and angst about Lucien, Death, etc. A small scattering of ShadoWidoMauk too.
