    Zuko's peaceful, isolated life is completely changed when a new neighbor moves in across the street.

     

    He wanted to talk to Hot Neighbor, but it seemed like he was something of an introvert. The only person Sokka had seen at the guy's house was an older man with a dope-ass beard, who was likely a relative. And also, Sokka had embarrassed himself in so many ways in front of this guy. He probably thought Sokka was a lunatic.

    So, Sokka resolved that for the entirety of his lease, he could not talk to the Hot Neighbor. It would be too humiliating. So, instead, he would just keep smiling and waving, and maybe one day, the neighbor would, for some bizarre reason, decide to talk to Sokka.
