Ubbe wasn’t going to be able to suddenly pray for a Goddess he barely heard about, but he didn’t need to if Alfred did that for both of them. May the gods forgive his ambitions and desires, because he is only hybrid after all.

Harry and Louis are descendants of a strong Persian pedigree. Half men, half cats, born with elegant and bright features (the whole body is the same as ours – humans –, the difference is in the cats's ears, the sharp teeth, the long-growing nails and cat's tail). They have been promised to marriage in name of the purity of a Persian and to unit their families together forever since their childhood, but apparently it will take much more than a pretty face and their mother's promise for these two to get along and make Anne and Jay's dreams come true.
Maybe the fact that Harry is an alpha and Louis an omega makes things a little bit easier.

Summary
Birger - Billy - is the most trustworthy ally Ubbe could find. When the war against Ragnarssons started Billy stood beside his True King and fought Ivar’s worriers. Being defeated almost got them killed but with Heahmund, Lagertha, Bjorn, Torvi and some others they managed to survive and seek for refuge in Wessex.
Stephen - Steve - is a noble from Alfred’s court. He was one of the few who stood up for King Alfred when Aethelred plotted to overthrow him. Having the same age as the King, Steve became an adviser and friend in charge of tame the nobles in difficult times. Part of the land granted to the Vikings after the first battle came from Steve and he knew people would find hard to accept this new foreign into their lives.
He just didn’t expect to find it complicated too for completely different - non biblical - reasons.

So, yes, my liege, I slept with both woman and man, sometimes at the same time.” Ubbe delighted himself with Alfred warm body, admiring his cheekbones becoming a sweet pinkish. “Do you think I will go to hell, son of Athelstan?” It gave Alfred a strange feeling to be called son of Athelstan. Nobody knew and never should know, but he and Ubbe had this conversation long ago and the connection between them grow after realizing how much Ragnar loved Athelstan. Some would say they even had a relationship beyond friendship, how a holy man such as Athelstan would be in hell? What if Ubbe goes to hell too? Paradise didn’t sound so appealing right now.
“I hope not.” Alfred felt difficulty to swallow. His eyes were piercing Ubbe’s traits and trying to memorize each small detail. “I would want to go with you.”

The battle is over and Alfred has to deal with his wife and Bjorn. He doesn't care as much as he should and maybe that's because he is in love with Ubbe.
