Summary
Mari is worried about Sunny. He’s always been an introverted kid, but now he rarely leaves his room, let alone go outside. He has hobbies, he’s great at violin, and he’s a model student, but something about Sunny just isn’t sitting right with Mari. And she wants to find some way to help him.
Aubrey likes her life well enough. The hooligans are the only people she really knows, and she likes spending time with them. Making new friends isn’t really at the top of her priority list right now.
Kel and Basil, assumed to be a dynamic duo since the second grade, are dating. They have for a while, and will for at least a long time. Keeping it a secret has been tough, but it’s better than possible drama that could come from publicly dating in a small town like Faraway.
And Hero just wants to help anyway he can.
All of these characters will be brought together by strange weather, SOMETHING in the woods, and the very real possibility of death.
