Summary
Hanma took a long drag of his cigarette. His expression was sharp and cold. A hazy cloud of smoke lingered in the stagnant air. He tilted his head to the side, eyeing you, scrutinising you.It took everything in you to seem confident in front of this man.
He ran that golden, calculated gaze of his over your figure but for some reason it didn't make your skin crawl. It made your skin feel too tight and your insides too hot.
"Why are ya here tonight?" he asked.
You ground your jaw. "It's a Friday night. I came here to see the club." Which wasn't a lie necessarily.
"Hm," Hanma hummed, staring down at you. "With Matsuno Chifuyu?" There was disbelief and humour in his eyes.
"Nope," you said, popping the p. "Came here alone."
"Ah," he breathed. After a pause, he asked, "Do you know Matsuno Chifuyu?"
You sucked your teeth, getting tired of this questioning. "I've heard of him but didn't come here with him."
Hanma huffed a laugh-- a low dark sound from his chest.
You weren't fooling this man, you realised to your horror. What a stupid mistake it was to attempt to lie.

Summary
You had spent the last two months in Getō Suguru’s close proximity, observing him, studying him. You sort of needed his help— or that’s what he thought. You pretended to be a non-sorcerer who was tormented by curses—curses, you had created.
“But I don’t know what to do.” You raised your eyes back to his again, feigning dread. “These- these symptoms are getting worse.”
Curiosity danced in his dark eyes like endless swirls of a storm. “Which symptoms?”
You knelt before him, your skirt rising up and showing more of your bare thighs. You felt an undercurrent of desire ripple through the air. “I-I'm not quite sure where to begin.”
“Wherever you are comfortable. Take your time,” he said. To anyone else, he sounded almost sincere and kind. You knew he was anything but, and he didn't know that he had just invited a fox into his temple full of chickens.
