Summary
Nick, Dream thinks, has been acting really weird lately. For a while, actually. And he’d noticed — of course he’d noticed. But it was weird enough that Dream hadn’t known how to approach him and ask what was wrong, and now, they’re stuck together with hardly three feet of space between them 496 miles away from Florida. And he’s pretty sure Nick’s giving him the silent treatment.
Okay. Okay.
It’s fine. Everything is fine.

Summary
Nightmare is a vigilante and a thorn in the Syndicate's side, almost as bad as the former #1 hero—now missing, with a bounty on his head. It seems like every time they get close to figuring out another lead on the corruption deep in the Hero Federation's core, Nightmare is there first, mucking up their investigations and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
Technoblade doesn't volunteer to deal with the problem so much as stumble into the job, but whatever, it's just one annoying guy in a stupid mask. How hard can it be?

Summary
Dream pauses, going deathly still for a moment, before he resumes motion and finishes handing the bottle of water to Sapnap, pressing it into his hands and snatching his own back like he doesn’t want to – Sapnap doesn’t know – taint himself with Sapnap’s touch? Or like it will hurt him, a demon flinching away from holy water in fear of the burn. Sapnap’s better than stereotypes, he swears he is – and Bad is his dad besides – but there’s something gratifying about the imagery.
Good, he thinks, viciously, that I would burn him to touch.
---
Or: four months after his escape from prison, Dream rescues Sapnap from being subsumed by the Crimson Egg. There's a lot lying unsaid between them.

Summary
After nearly a year of waiting for his visa, George is finally allowed to go home. Home, meaning a house in Florida that was already inhabited by his two best friends, Dream and Sapnap. Being an omega, George feared what trouble moving in with two alphas could potentially create. He never expected that trouble would come in the form of soft curls and green eyes, sparking something irreversible inside himself.
~
"George."
George closed his eyes, smiling at the familiar sound of Dream saying his name in a sleepy mumble. It was a sound he heard most mornings and most nights, seeing that they fell asleep on call together more often than not these last few months of waiting for his visa.
"Dream," George answered, turning around to face the back seat. Dream was already staring at him with the dopiest smile George had ever seen in his life.
"You're here," Dream murmured, his voice nearly drowned out by the whirling sound of air rushing through the vents. George leaned against his seat while still contorting himself to face Dream.
"I'm home," George smiled.

Summary
In a timeline where Players are not whitelisted to the Dream SMP until they reach the age of majority, there is no drug van, no L'Manberg, no Doomsday, no Disc Finale, and no Pandora's Vault. However, in the aftermath of Sapnap's latest bout of trouble-making, the Egg awakens and establishes its empire, and despite the server's admin debugging the virus down to bedrock, the Dream SMP now has a brand-new public enemy number one.
(or: Due to one simple rule change at the Dream SMP's creation, BadBoyHalo is now the reviled and distrusted villain of the server instead of Dream.)
