“Open up.” Peter held out the thermometer and then busied himself setting a bottle of Tylenol on Neal’s bedside table. He stood and went into the kitchenette, filling a glass with water and pulling a large mixing bowl out of a lower cabinet.
“99.9,” Neal said, setting the thermometer next to the Tylenol. “Not even technically a fever, I can go to work.” He pushed himself up to lean against the headboard, trying to seem more awake and alert than he felt.
“It’s considered a low grade fever and you were throwing up, you’re staying home.” Peter’s voice was sharp, and Neal knew better than to argue with that tone.

It wouldn't take a genius to tell that Regulus is missing something. He just doesn't expect his missing piece to be James Potter, bleeding out in the middle of the woods.
