Casually, so the elf didn’t get spooked, Osentiatia leaned over the side of her bed and groped for the thing she always casually left laying there. Aelwyn turned back, some kind of broken crystal in her hand. “You were annoyingly fun. Goodbye Os-”
And then Ostentatia smacked her over the head with her hammer.

Ostentatia picks up on the fact that Aelwyn is trying to kidnap her and promptly does her own kidnapping instead.Now she's got her crush locked in her basement- for her own safety!- and really needs to figure out how to kill a dragon without letting any of the evil people Aelwyn was working for figure out where their missing asset went.
And also deal with family drama. Because there's always family drama.

Summary
Kristen stared at the newspaper her mother had laid out on the table. On the front page was an article about a diplomatic scandal and rumors of a war brewing. Kristen didn’t pay attention to any of that. Her gaze was firmly locked on the picture that accompanied the article.
Two elven girls looked back at her. They were surrounded by people, reporters or lawyers or something, but they were the main focus of the image.
And they looked so scared.

Right after Adaine fails her Hudol tests Aelwyn reports their parents to the police.
This causes them to loose guardianship of their daughters and the Abernant sisters are placed in the care of a human family that worships Helio.

After the adventure in the briefcase Baron hitched a ride to the outside world in Adaine's body. Riz is trying to deal with that.

Summary
Adaine and Riz didn’t really consider the repercussions of becoming internet famous. Both of them had endured relative fame before, what with being the defeaters of Kalvaxus, and the Oracle and a damn good detective respectively.
However, the beginning of their Junior Year brings a whole new level of attention. It seems that being on the same YouTube channel as two rock stars really gets people's attention. Especially, when its one which updated almost weekly through the Summer (what? It wasn’t their fault their lives were ridiculous and deserved to be memorialised through video) and only grew in popularity instead of dying like they’d all thought it would.
A story of Adaine and Riz having to deal with their new fame interrupting their daily lives whilst they try and complete their Junior Year. Riz just wants to be the best detective there is, without his work being delayed by people recognising him and Adaine would rather her personal life be left alone, especially when she just might finally be interested in someone. Maybe.
Oh, and, on top of all that, they have to deal with the revival of the Harvest Men, and the fact their teacher might just be evil (again). But, really, that was the easy part.
