Summary
Sapnap gets a call from his mother, requesting help on his grandfather"s farm for a local festival. He invites his friends, but when Dream and George pull out last minute, Karl is the only one who makes the trip to Texas. Both assume the week away from their hectic lives will be an easy vacation, something to take their minds off things neither are ready to think about. Instead, hidden feelings surface, shifting the dynamic of the two best friends.

Summary
Sapnap, a notoriously sullen computer science major, is attending North Carolina State University, along with his roommate and long-time internet friend, Dream. While Dream has been pining over the pretty British boy in a couple of his classes, Sapnap finds himself having a much harder time avoiding a certain gray-eyed ray of sunshine.
*Story is not told chronologically. Chapters will vary from Freshman year (2015-2016 school year) to Senior year (2018-2019 school year). Chapters will be dated at the top to avoid confusion. Also, for reference, "present day" is spring semester of senior year.*
(The classic, "the grumpy one is soft for the sunshine one" trope)
***Chapter 9 is the only chapter with explicit content. The chapter is p w/o plot so it can be omitted without affecting the storyline too much***

Summary
As top New York baker of 404 Sweets, Dream is excited to come home from his work trip to show the world what he"s learned. Everything seems normal when he returns; for example, his roommate Sapnap still refuses to admit there"s something more to his "friends with benefits" relationship with Karl. The only thing that"s bothering him is the almost kiss with his best friend (and boss), George, before he"d left for Europe. It"s something they need to talk about, he knows, but it"s New Year"s Eve. For now, he"s ready to celebrate with his friends, and face whatever the future holds in the morning.
And then, the Redolence Virus hits, and everyone"s world is changed forever.
