Kirishima knew first hand how Bakugo had waited and waited to ask Midoriya to be a part of his agency because in Bakugo’s eyes, no one could ever hold a candle to Midoriya.
And yes, admittedly, Kirishima had been wrong in poking a hot iron into Midoriya’s rejection of the idea. He realized this now and he wished he could take it back.
Especially as the speedometer kept climbing.
And climbing.
”Uh, Bakugo?”
And climbing.
”Bakugo?”
Kirishima asked with a bit of urgency in his tone. Bakugo was driving almost 50 above the speed limit.

Penny had been invisible.
From as far back as she could remember up until her father had returned from Afghanistan, the girl had had no idea what it was like to be a part of a family. She'd had vague ideas, from the kids at pre-school and then at elementary school. Friends had talked about what they'd done with their parents over the weekend, often with a sibling or two attached. They'd talk about trips and games and, what had made her most jealous of all, birthday parties.
Penny hadn't really had birthdays. And especially not parties.
But, with Pepper pregnant and every moment being dedicated to the coming baby, Penny is really looking forward to this one day.
