Summary
Lan Qiren came to ask Wei Wuxian to go see Lan Wangji because of his nephews' request. He had already expected for this talk to not go too well since he would also have to tell Wei Wuxian about Lan Wangji's punishment for siding with him and protecting him.
And he confirms his fears were not wrong when Wei Wuxian all but breaks down in front of him. Lan Qiren has to quickly think about how to calm him down and snap him out of his self-imposed guilt.Part of the Lotus Flower series, can be also read as stand-alone fan fiction but I recommend to read it after the previous parts of the series.

Summary

Summary
What went through Jin Ling when he stabbed Wei Ying at the Jinlintai? How did he cope (or not) with the fact that he injured Wei Ying and what happened while Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were on the run?
I decided to make Wei Ying's injury much worse, needed someone to take care of Jin Ling and to be honest, I was dying to write Nie Huaisang. My evil genius probably ends up out of character but that's because of the character development he, and other characters, go through.
Everything ends well... And who knows, maybe this story will get a sequel eventually.
