Childe muted himself on his call and turned his focus on his livestream. “Thank you for the Starry Night, Saviour Sword. Thank you for the three Starry Nights, Scaramouche’s Number One Simp, although we don’t support Scaramouche here. Thank you for the Meteor Shower, Carrying Your Mom.”
As he sipped on his protein shake, Childe thanked his donors for quite a few minutes until he neared the end of the list.
“Thank you for the two Starry Nights, Watch Me Solo 69. Thank you for the eight Celestial…” Childe blinked twice, slowly, then rubbed his eyes. His eyes flicked to his monitor in an instant and he straightened the hem of his neckline, sitting taller. “Thank you for the eight Celestial Blooms, Zhongli.”

Summary
When Saiki first heard of curse users and sorcerers, he didn’t give it much thought. He was out on an errand years ago – not floating, because at two years old he finally realized that was alarming for the employees – when he heard someone’s inner monologue about the curses nearby, just as loud and panicked as the kid behind him who realized he didn’t have enough money for the Jump in his hands.
From there onwards, the topic came up here and there with a small handful of people he passed, but frankly, he just wasn’t interested. What was the use of manipulating curses when you could manipulate the science of curses themselves? He’d leave the curses to the sorcerers and the sorcerers could leave him to his coffee jelly, sitting on the park swing and sorting rocks into pictures in the air.
At least, that was his plan before his Precognition in Shinjuku.

____Baizhu, not knowing Zhongli is a god who has toughened out the worst of wars, suggests Zhongli takes anesthesia after a tough battle that requires minor surgery and heavy stitches. Zhongli, always curious to broaden his views with new experiences, happily agrees. Childe is met with a world of fluff.

“Hey, so… I’m feeling a little sick. Everyone must feel this way, right?”
Gepard counted to five in his head, then took a deep breath. His blue eyes felt icy cold in their sockets. “Perhaps you should see yourself to the restroom.”

“Listen,” Naruto rationalizes, raising both hands as if to emphasize that he is in no way anything resembling a threat. The back of his neck is sweating and he wants to rub the droplets away, but he can’t risk Sasuke perceiving that as an attack. “When I said you should get a hobby, this is not what I meant.”
“You just want me to be holed up in your apartment waiting for the day that the old fucks in the Tower decide that I’m a trustable kind of violent?” He scoffs. “You’re the one that wanted me back in the village so bad. What’s the issue?”
Naruto drags heavy hands down his face in frustration. The slight breeze leaking in from the cracked window isn’t enough in this suffocating heat. “The issue is that you don’t even see that you’re just getting talked into some cult-adjacent bullshit. Again.”
Sasuke crosses his arms over his chest defiantly. “I don’t see how selling leggings is cult-adjacent. My therapist says it's a perfectly respectable post-war activity.”
