"Curious had seen everything the Hotel had to offer: from the ceaseless Void encasing it, to the variety of monsters lurking through its halls. He’d even gone to the second building in the Void— but there had been even more boring than here. What was the point of having a thousand rooms when you had nothing to fill them with? At least here there were things to watch— even if they did get a little monotonous after a while…
But now there was something new; something fresh. He hadn’t realized just how much he’d missed the feeling of wonder. A millennia of seeing the same things over and over must have that effect on people.
