Summary
The internet is a powerful thing, connecting people who might otherwise never have found each other. For young Practitioners without support, Occult Magic Online is a place to ask questions, give help, maybe even make some friends. But danger lurks on here as well; even a help forum for Practitioners is still, in the end, filled with Practitioners. Not to mention all the Others on here, too. Can the users of OMO rise above the backstabbing, distrustful culture of the Practice, or is this another idealist project doomed to failure?
RP set in the world of Pact and Pale by Wildbow.
Generally, OMO content uses the information in canon as a springboard to fill in the rest of the world, and avoids interacting with canon characters and settings. The most major divergence of OMO content is the premise that a small Practitioner forum would be able to exist as shown in this RP, and that information would be bandied about anywhere near this freely. This initial suspension of disbelief is required to allow forum-style RP to exist like this, and all works within this collection assume the existence of OMO as a place where Practitioners can talk.
