Summary

“Ah-ha! Not true. Time is the only thing we have.” Venti refuses to let Xiao meet his end so easily. He doesn’t know Xiao, not really. But it’s just so frustrating to see him with freedom right between his fingers and still refuse to hold on. He could if only he tried.
Venti will drag Xiao into tomorrow, even if he has to do it kicking and screaming.

Note: This fic will have end game Lang/Yuno, but it is ABOUT Yuno/X, all the ways in which that relationship can be brutal and beautiful while it lasts. It considers the scenario of What if Yuno had chosen X. At this point Lang had only told Yuno to move on and not invited him to his crew yet, his Italian “family” was actively hostile, and Timothy and Yuno were still on bad terms.
The perfect storm, in other words, for bad decisions. -

A Mob Don and A school teacher meet on the first day of the Don's son's first day. Yeager is 10 and after meeting his new teacher, who he really likes and wants to come live with them, has decided his dad is a lonely old man who needs some love in his life. Lang is a father who's doing his best to juggle his fatherly and Don activities, and after meeting Yuno, he's immediately fucked. Yuno is confused but smart. He really loves Yeager and takes to him very quickly, his attractive father coming in with him every day, doesn't hurt, after meeting Yeager and Lang, he's excited for the school day. Lang and Yuno might also end up bumping into each other during Yuno's side gig.. you'll have to read to find out.

Unfortunately, they failed to consider the others who lived at the Clean Manor, and when they mess with the one person in CB you should never touch if you want to live to see another day, they realize just how badly they've fucked up.
