'He was so close to being at peace. He was not far from the chance to finally call a place home. Yet, why was he always the one to lose it when it was just in his reach?
He wonders why the small crystal that has found its way into his chest, pulsing right above his heart, is telling him that it wasn’t his fault at all, when he rightfully knows that it always is.
In the moments he is not him, his body and mind rely on his newly found fractured instincts to keep him alive, predator and prey fighting within himself to follow a specific guide. However, when he is himself, his normal human mind, or what can be close to that, is back at the forefront of reality, he starts to remember what happened before. What happened before all of this.'
