Summary
There was nothing Jayce wanted more than to leave. The thought of slipping out the back, unnoticed, sounded like the best thing in the world. But then he looked around at the revelry. All these people, here, for them; for Hextech. How could he just up and leave that?
“I don’t want to disappoint anyone. I should be out there, talking up the high rollers,” Jayce gestured to the crowd in general.
“Jayce, we have just completed the biggest project of our lives. Maybe even our lifetime. Do we not deserve to rest? For one night?” Jayce was surprised. Viktor was just as much of a workaholic as he was, maybe even more so. But he couldn’t deny how appealing the offer was.
“Maybe you’re right,” Jayce concedes.
“Of course I am,”
OR
Jayce gets sick and is forced to let Viktor care for him. Feelings ensue.
