Barbara Gordon was always a prodigy, which is why she managed to go to the university with a scholarship outside of Gotham earlier than most do, she had everything to conquer the world after finishing her master's degree, job offers in any city with a comfortable salary and a nice flat. But she didn't take any.
She ended up back in Gotham, her hometown filled with bittersweet memories that thought she would never return to, but the love for her father was what made her decisions. Shortly after arriving, she finds an attractive man that everyone seems to be talking about, Bruce Wayne turns out to be much friendlier and more interesting than what the media portrays him and without meaning to, she ends up in a complicated situation with the man who seems to continue dragging the chains of his past even three decades later. Walk away or help with some of the weight? the question was just around the corner and neither option seemed the right one. -
