She could not help her staring, even as she jumped in surprise and pushed herself a few inches back across the mattress.
“Who - what -” Her tongue was tied, clumsy.
“Where am I?”
“Your dreams, of course.” The woman drawled, folding her arms on the carved arm of the loveseat, chin resting against them.
