He always avoided this topic for one reason or another but mainly because he wasn't sure if Osamu meant leave Medeen or... when his ring finally isn't enough to save him.

The beach is so new to Yuma, he’s never really visited one before… he doesn't really know what to do. What even is a sandcastle? As if Osamu could read his thoughts he walks up behind Yuma and lightly touches his shoulder, "Should we go swimming first?"
Yuma’s grateful for his suggestion and he nods. "Race you to the water!" He takes off, sprinting over the burning sand.
"Hey wait that's not fair you got a head start!" Osamu races after Yuma, stumbling and cursing slightly as the sand burns his feet too.

sans hesitates after stepping in the building, glancing around haphazardly. there's a cashier to his left, and walls of clothing in every direction except for in front of him, which has uh, watches? he looks up but the signs aren't very informative. womens, mens, housewares. aren't all these clothes technically house-wears? heh.
he knew it was going to happen at some point, but he didn't think it was going to be like this and he is wholly unprepared to deal with it. his brother reminds him that he can deal with it, though.

Frisk doesn't mind staying with Toriel in the Ruins - it's better than where they had been before, after all. But they're curious about the stairs they're not allowed to go down, about all the time that Toriel spends down there, and about the rest of the Underground the talking flower tells them is down there somewhere. Down the stairs and through the door...
Where they find a voice waiting for them.

“Allow me to tell you…a story,” the thing wearing a child’s skin says. The words sound like they’ve been dragged through concrete, but its smile is a little less malicious and a little more hollow. That’s…maybe good?
Sans shrugs.
“sure. i love stories. this one have a happy ending?”
It grimaces through that pinned-on smile. Its eyes are flat and dead.
“That remains to be seen,” it mutters. It shrugs its shoulders, squirms a little bit. Trying to get comfortable in skin that it doesn’t belong in.
“It’s a story about some kid who freed all the monsters,” it says. “They’re…they’re a…good…they’re…”
