    The first story in this series, “Not the Good Guys,” can be read as a stand-alone. All of the pieces thereafter continue from the moment that first story leaves off and serve a broader plot that I’m in the process of building. Thank you, dear readers, for driving me to make so much more of this project than I’d planned. It has been such a pleasure to finally write one of my oldest ships. I never stopped loving them.

    The match was arranged to save the Realm, a match between Lady Sansa Stark and Prince Aemond "One-Eye" Targaryen, in the summer of the year 128 AC. Despite the celebrations of the coming Royal Wedding the South faces civil war and a succession crisis which is meant to tear the dynasty of the Targaryens asunder, but it is all carefully concealed as a rising faction gives way between the Greens and Blacks. While Prince Aemond struggles to balance secrets and duty in face of the ruination the Targaryen dynasty faces.

    Let it be known, no good ever came from a Stark coming South.

    Through unknown means, Sansa Stark finds herself trapped in the start of the year 126 AC, just after Cregan's uprising and reclaiming of his position as Warden of the North and Lord of Winterfell. Between an uprising and now a blight on crops, the North faces a coming famine which will decimate their ranks if they do not find aid from the Crown. Desperation forged Cregan and Sansa's alliance, and now Sansa seeks to play the game she was taught so well in an effort to save the North by going south.

    Let it be known, no good ever came to a Stark who went South.

    Aemond told himself that he was fine. Handsome, well educated, a young lawyer at the most prestigious law firm in NYC. He had everything he needed. It didn't matter that his entire family had shunned him since shortly after he lost his eye, blaming him for the horrific aftermath. He was fine...until his brother Aegon came back into his life, pleading for help after being arrested on a drug charge.

    As the brothers rekindle and begin to fall in love, Aegon slowly starts trying to pull Aemond back into the family. But not everyone is willing to welcome him back, and soon, the entire family is thrown into turmoil from which it can never recover.
