Just because most of Team 7 is gone, off striving for newer and greater heights, that doesn't mean the world stops for Haruno Sakura. In a world where she doesn't apprentice to the Godaime Hokage (can't, won't, what difference does it make when the result is the same?) her desperation leads her to a different solution: keeping Team 7 alive, anyway she can. Whether Kakashi-sensei wants her to or not.

Summary
Today is a normal day. He’s grateful for that, really. As good as he is at keeping up the adventure-seeking persona in front of most people, he does appreciate the chance to settle into some sort of routine without constantly being in fight-or-flight. He goes to his classes, both bard and fighter and general education, and he sits with the rest of the Bad Kids at lunch. He nods to various acquaintances in the hallways as he makes his way to his last two classes of the day, and he goes to bloodrush practice when those are over and spends most of his time being something between encouraging and terrifying to the underclassmen. He drives home on the Hangman, who greets him enthusiastically, and he says hello to Mama and Gilear and Cathilda before heading up to do homework. It’s a normal day.
It’s just—well, it’s gotten rather cold, hasn’t it?

Fabian is hit by a curse that manifests touch-starvation as a physical feeling of cold, unknown to any of the people he loves. It doesn't go well.
