Summary
Bobby's aware that it's entirely normal for best friends to spend a lot of time together. He's just not sure that's what's going on here.
As Buck and Eddie's friendship progresses and teeters on the border of something altogether different, the rest of the 911 and friends look on in despair. Can two fully grown men really be so oblivious?
A series of linked and progressive one-shots.

Summary
Eddie Diaz would like to say that the 118 needs a more involved HR department, or maybe he just needs friends who do less meddling
_____
"Eddie," Buck says seriously, once he's done hiccuping through his giggles, one stray hand resting on Eddie's knee, "I hate to break this to you, but you have a son. That can't be true."
"Exactly!" Hen's own drink sloshes dangerously towards the rim as she pointed it at Eddie. "If you couldn't have sex, then you wouldn't have a kid." She gasps. "Wait, you're from Texas! Maybe you don't know that!"
"It's a serious problem," Chimney confirms solemnly. "Poor little kids from Texas, all thinking that babies come from storks."

Summary
Winning streaks aren't real, and neither are losing streaks. It's all just a glitch of the human brain, finding patterns where there are none. Eddie, dedicated skeptic that he is, would definitely tell him that in the same fondly condescending tone he uses to explain to Buck that jinxes and hexes aren't real, seriously, cursed bracelets and q-word shifts from hell notwithstanding.
He wonders sometimes if Eddie has changed his tune on that now, but he's definitely not going to ask him. There's a Christopher-shaped hole in their conversations these days, and the edges are still sharp. And Buck doesn't want to know if this has finally made Eddie come around to the idea that maybe he's cursed.

Summary
After the Battle, Harry thinks he's left Hogwarts for good, but Minerva insists that all students return for an Eighth Year if they wish to sit for NEWTs in the spring, and Harry needs those NEWTs to go into the Aurors. Draco's just grateful not to be in Azkaban. Or the Manor. He's hoping he can steer clear of Potter this year and grapple with his own problems. Unfortunately for him, Potter appears to be one of those problems. And that's not even addressing the fact that Potter's got serious issues of his own, which Draco realises as he's forced to share an Eighth Year dormitory room and several classes with the Gryffindor Git. If only they can make it through the year without killing each other, it should be all right, shouldn't it?

Summary
"Too bad we can't just date each other."
Eddie laughs. "What?"
"No, I'm serious!" Buck sets his beer down, the better to gesture with both hands, face lighting up, and Eddie just—he really loves the guy, okay. Ridiculous as he is. "It would be so much easier! You wouldn't have to introduce a new person to Chris—he already likes me anyway—and you could tell Pepa so she'll stop setting you up on dates that don't go anywhere—"
"And what would you get out of this?" Eddie asks, grinning.

Summary
“Buck?” Eddie asks. Buck doesn’t look up. “Did I say something wrong?”
“No, ’course not,” Buck says, shaking his head and smoothing out the blanket. “You’re right, I-I do follow you everywhere.”
“Okay,” Eddie says carefully. “Is that bad?”
Buck huffs a laugh. “No, no, it’s not. Just—revealing, I guess.”
Eddie’s silent for long enough that Buck chances a glance at him. His brow is furrowed deeply, and he’s frowning at Buck.
“I would follow you anywhere too, you know,” he says.
