   Summary

   This takes place at the beginning of season 3. Canon compliant until then. Alex has returned from shutting down Project Shepherd, but this happens before it's revealed that Max is dying or who Jones really is. Michael and Alex spend an evening drinking and chatting, which leads to a discussion about possibly getting back together.
