Summary
“B?” Dick had mumbled, in pain and want of comfort. He had reached out a hand from the passenger seat and tugged gently on the leg armour of the man beside him, just wishing for him to scoop him up in a hug and stroke his hair and tell him everything was going to be alright and that they were almost home and Alfred would have medicine waiting and it wouldn’t hurt soon enough.
In return Bruce had quickly swiped his gaze from the road to the boy and back again, never quite landing on him but never lifting the glare he levelled at the road. “Don’t distract me when I’m driving, Robin,” Batman had said harshly, “It was just a punch. You can handle that right?”

Don't get him wrong, Peter wasn't bitter because he didn't believe in Aliens– how couldn’t he with such definitive proof around him– he just didn’t like when underqualified, non-governmental organisations, who don’t provide the necessary training try to take their cases.
“Relax, Peter, The Justice League knows what they’re doing with stuff like this.” Neal sat next to him in the car, fedora handing low over his eyes, revealing only the smirk on the lower half of his face.
“Do they, Neal? Do they really? As far as we know they could all be serial killers from Mars! We don’t know anything about anyone on the Justice League, why should we trust them, they aren’t even human?” If Peter weren’t clutching the steering wheel like his life depended on it he’d have crossed arms and a pout.

Summary
Several pairs of feet stomped towards where Dick was sitting. Damian was no longer crying but Dick could tell he was still upset so he bounced his knees and pulled down one of the origami cranes lying on his desk to let Damian play with it.
“Neal, whose child is that?” Peter asked in a warning tone.
“Mine,” Dick responded simply, not looking up from the case files on his desk and his computer.
“I’m sorry?” Peter asked incredulously, “You mean to tell me that this is your son?”
Dick looked up into the waiting eyes of Peter, Diana and Jones, “yeah.”

So that means Wally has to find them on his own (which may or may not include using Slade Wilson). Trust me, Wally isn’t happy about it either. Eventually they have their first kiss since the two of them died. Peter is not thrilled.
