“NiGHTmAR3.” Error’s voice always has had a raspy, dry tone to it, and the tar-covered skeleton in question merely smiles at the glare Error gives him.
“Hello, Error. You seem pleased to see me.” Nightmare gestures vaguely to the charged blasters. Error narrows his eyes a little more, and Nightmare sees his stare go a little more focused. Focused on him. Nightmare knows Error fully intends to make a point of being able to slaughter Nightmare, but Nightmare always finds it amusing that Error gives him more attention than most fights.
“I c0UlD kILL YOU. R1GHT HEr3. AND NO 0N3 WOULd CAr3.” Blunt. Unforgiving. Error never pulls his punches with his threats.
My headcannon of how I like to imagine Error and Nightmare's relationship from the beginning (or almost the beginning).
Nightmare wants to make an alliance with Error, as, having the Destroyer assist him would certainly make history with how much power they would have. To Nightmare, it seems mutually beneficial, although Error has different outlooks on the situation. Nightmare continues to pester Error, using every tactic he knows to coerce Error into joining him- And gaining a fondness for Error somewhere along the way.Bookmarked by SpiritNightWolf

Summary
After the monsters win the monster/human war, most humans are whipped out, monsters taking over. Now, in the year 2113, Frisk and Chara are two of the few humans left in BlightView: the monster capital of the world, ruled over by King W.D Gaster, with his adoptive son, Dream, by his side. But like anything, the Castle holds many dark secrets of its own...
And of course, nothing is as it seems in the city as well, as it is that most people who don’t live in or near the city centre have it extremely rough, all being treated roughly and unfairly, living in poor conditions. A rebellion is soon formed in the “slums”, the outskirts of BlightView, run by Error, along with other misfits, like small, rundown Sans, who lives with a grieving Asgore outside of the city, and an enraged Cross, who wishes for nothing more than revenge, and young Killer, a boy who grew up in the slums without parents and a strange medical condition. The rebellion is the city’s last hope.

Summary
This is MY version of the Sans Au Multiverse. The X-event never happened, and Ink and Cross became close (like brothers, along with Reaper). There are three 'new' Au's in this, those are my Au's, but they have never told their backstory to anyone else. Not even to each other. But this isn't about them, yet, so lemme finish explaining this. So, Ink actually does care about the people in the Au's knowing that the creators can remake the Au, but not the people. Or his friends, so he protects them from the creators. He fights for them and not the creators, while he and Error did have a truce, Ink couldn't save Error from the creators until recently. Most people knew that Ink didn't have a soul since he didn't hide it, but Error held out until he did (Ink has a soul now) to tell him how he feels, and Ink accepted and returned the feelings. And as this AU of the Multiverse I, as a/the creator, also play a role in this as well. Everything has worked out, meaning there isn't any fighting. They're all friends now. HOWEVER, I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS OTHER THAN GREEN, LEO, AND SAGE! OH YEAH, NIGHTMARE IS PASSIVE IN THIS MULTIVERSE. THEY FOUND A WAY TO CHANGE HIM BACK.

{ Ink & Error run the only bitty shelter in Ebott City. As such, they're the go-to team when bitties are in trouble. When the police bust an animal fighting ring that includes a bundle of bitties, they have their work cut out for them rehabilitating and finding happy homes for each of them and their, um, special needs while juggling their meddling families and their upcoming wedding. }
