    In Japanese, Kristoph’s first name is Kirihito(霧人). When read backwards, it is pronounced the same as the word for killer, Hitokiri(人斬り). This pun is intended to be a reference to how he is revealed to be a murderer. However, in the final case of AA4, his crimes are revealed to be far greater than a single murder, making this pun become a method of subverting one’s expectations.
