Summary
With Camila and the Hexsquad in the Boiling Isles, Vee has to keep up appearances. But not having her mamí's car keys is just the tip of the iceberg, and explaining why Luz and Camila are gone might be easier than explaining why they're back.
This is a post-canon fic set right after Thanks to Them and then after Watching and Dreaming, but before the time skip epilogue at the end of that episode. It will also (hopefully) be the first in a series of fics exploring that four year gap between the defeat of Belos and Luz's King-ceañera.
