Hae-in studies his face and smiles softly. “I find that one of the silver linings of losing my memory is that I experience things for the first time again. You know, not knowing what’s to come. I find joy in it, in surprises.”
Hyun-woo nods. “That’s good to hear. You never really liked surprises before.”
“Yeah, I’ve changed,” she says, turning to him. “You surprise me, every day.”
