Summary
After about three meetings in one week that Wooyoung ‘didn’t have to go to’, he started actually getting suspicious. He was confused at first, but it was just curiosity. What on earth could San be doing that Wooyoung couldn’t witness? If it was just… permit stuff, why couldn’t he come? He half debated waiting in the damn truck to force San to take him.
And after about two weeks of suspicious nighttime outings, Wooyoung got anxious. The random texts and calls San kept getting before his nights out, those just made it worse. The first couple of times Wooyoung had ignored it- but San hardly used his phone, so why was it always on him, now? Why was he so quick to snatch it off the table when it went off, and Wooyoung was there? Why were all his calls hushed and taken across the entire backyard, where Wooyoung couldn’t hear unless he followed? The calls were frequent- the texts were daily, at this point. Who the hell was he talking to?
And then, he met her.

Summary
Christmas was in three days, and if he wasn’t done with the entire gingerbread town display by tomorrow, Mrs. Claus was going to have his ass. He finally had the chance to take over the very sacred duty of designing, baking, and putting together the entire thing; With the help of some very kind volunteers, of course. He’d wanted to do this since he first started baking, it was always his favorite part of the holiday decorations, but it was proving to be way too much pressure for him.

“...isn’t that that stablehand?”
“Hm?”
“That stablehand, the one that always buys out all your leftover gingerbread?”
“Oh, he’s back? I thought he already came by, today.”
-
“And what can I do for you? I am fresh out of scraps, buddy.” Wooyoung started out kind, but he made it obvious how irritated he was, towards the end.
“You can call me San.”

Summary
“The other families did their own, so we should do our own.” San nodded, smile proud and small, cheeks dimpled deep as he turned to look for a perfect Wooyoungie pumpkin. But Wooyoung was staring, watching his broad back as he wandered away from him. Looking over the plaid, makeshift patch he’d had to sew into the middle of his coat at the back, because he was just so broad, and none of Wooyoung’s clothes had managed to fit just right without alteration. At the mess that his hair was, since he didn’t care to keep it neat, most times.
“...are we a family, San-ah?” Wooyoung’s heart felt heavy and light, all at the same time. A strange imbalance that made him want more. He watched San cock his head, thinking, but still looking.
“Hmm. I hope so.” San nodded, and Wooyoung hurried to him, careful not to trip over smaller pumpkins, one or two already smashed from more uncareful visitors.

Summary
“I made lots of sales, I hope I did everything right.” He spoke with a pout, and Wooyoung could smell him fishing for more praise.
“Ah, really? It looks like you did, hm?” He just chuckled and eyed the women still standing there, fidgeting with their purse clasps. He sighed, feeling possessiveness tug at his chest. “You did well”. He murmured, scratching San’s neck, just at the back to make him shiver.
“I made more than a hundred coins, that’s good?” San huffed, eyes tracing Wooyoung like he was hunting him- obsessing over him.
“Mmhmm. My good boy.”Series

Summary
“I like your strawberry pies.” San said, after some thought.
“You always say strawberry pie. How about something different, this time?” Wooyoung chuckled, watching his excitement falter, replaced with a pout that deserved a kiss. Wooyoung ignored that thought. He ignored most thoughts he had, like that
“But… it’s supposed to be strawberry.” San pouted harder, and Wooyoung reached to hold his chin, stopping the both of them when he slid his thumb over his lip. There sometimes were urges like that, ones that had already carried themselves out by the time Wooyoung could even think about it. He didn’t have time to ignore those.
“No pouting. I’ll make strawberry pie, then.”Series
