From the way he would cry over spilled milk to the way he caused chaos in the home, while Techno and Phil were so much more put together—maybe putting the crib next to his bed wasn’t the best idea.

This led him to his current predicament: laying in missionary position on one of Logan’s bad days while Wade himself is having a bad day and now he’s on the verge of tears because Logan called him a worthless whore.
On a normal day, this wouldn’t have bothered him at all. On a normal day, it might’ve even been enough to make him nut on the spot. And really, if it had been anyone else, anyone he wasn’t at least a little bit (maybe a lot) in love with, he probably still could’ve taken it in stride. Today however, everything hurt. His skin fucking burned, his joints ached, his mind was a mess and all he wanted to do was get fucked into the mattress until he was a drooling mess so he could sleep better at night.

Summary
Daniel didn’t know the history of the bath, but he probably would someday.
One day, his curiosity would get the better of him and he’d go digging to find the fossilised pieces of Armand’s past and start putting them together like palaeontologists do with dinosaur bones. And like them he wouldn’t get it right first try but it’s not like he would stop trying.
And the narrative where Armand was upset by the bath made more sense.
The actual fact, that Armand was sure of, was that he could have gone through with the bath and given Daniel no clues at all about any of his prior experiences if Daniel hadn’t asked Armand to affirm that he wanted it.
That had been the distressing part.
