Summary
As he approached, Loki saw that the new man had dark, blood-red hair - a deeper shade than Kurama’s bright scarlet locks - rather than black or brown. The covering bathing suit clung to a figure much thinner than Loki’s own. This was no warrior, at least not in the sense that Loki was familiar with, his muscle whipcord that barely held bones together.
Loki rolled the man onto his back and straightened crooked limbs. He carefully removed the dark glasses.
“Oh.” Loki blinked at the other’s face.
“What is it?”
He looked up to see Kurama standing by his shoulder. “I know him.”

“I assume you mean Sylvie, right, pussycat?” Mobius winks and Loki raises a defensive eyebrow. Mobius loves doing this to Loki—poking and prodding him just to see his reaction. And there’s always a reaction. Loki is so responsive to Mobius’s specific brand of candid, teasing banter. And it feels good. Maybe too good. Mobius tries not to think about just how good Loki’s responsiveness to him actually feels, or else he’s not sure how far he might go to wring more and more of those delicious reactions out of Loki.
“But yeah no, no time for sleep these days,” Mobius says.

Summary
Mobius M. Mobius is a chronically stressed single dad who is in desperate need of a break and a boyfriend. Luckily for him, when a mysteriously handsome bookshop owner named Loki opens his store across the street, sparks fly and they grow closer than ever over the next few months. Loki is quick to learn that Mobius is far too kind for his own good and he often takes on more than he can handle for the people he cares about.
As much as Mobius might've thought he'd been succeeding in managing things on his own, he seemed to be neglecting one of the most important things:
Himself.
The truth is, his health was declining. He didn't even know about it until an in-depth checkup with their family doctor. All of the extra stress he's been going through in his daily life had been taking a serious toll on his body. After getting prescribed a stay-cation at home, Mobius struggles to unwind. When a stubborn panic attack strikes, Loki takes it upon himself to care for Mobius and help him learn to relax.
