“Izuku, why are you wearing makeup? Who are you trying to impress at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday?” Realization crosses her face. “Izuku, I told you to leave that boy alone. He’s got work to do, and he’s too old for you anyways.”
“Mamaaaaaa,” Izuku whines again. “He’s only a year older...”
“Izuku, you just presented. You and I both know there’s big changes that happen in that year.” Inko explains, giving Izuku a pitiful look, stroking his hair affectionately.
“Whatever, it’s not like I’m pretty enough to even be his mate,” Izuku says, looking away as his eyes get a little sparkly with incoming tears, “I think he probably just likes to tease me, anyways.”
Izuku can't help but be a little in love with his father's handsome farm boy, and it might not be the best idea he's had...

“Deku,” Katsuki said, for the first time in so long.
A mess of emotions flickered across Deku’s face as he froze at the sound. But he turned towards Katsuki immediately.
“Kacchan,” Deku said softly in surprise the moment his eyes landed on Katsuki, and Katsuki knew then why this house had smelled like home to him.
