Summary
The military was a funny place, in that you often ended up seeing the naked arse of at least one grown man whether you liked it or not. From the cramped quarters to the games of ‘Gay Chicken’ that sprung up, the communal shower lots and general end of the day being covered in mud and grime meant nine times out of ten you caught a glimpse of arse.
You got desensitised to it after a bit, it became standard that in said context, a bit of nudity would occur.
Which is why Ghost could not fathom what exactly froze him to the spot when he opened the door to Soap’s cramped quarters to find him sleeping face down in a pair of black briefs.

Johnny hadn’t shared much- just that the 141 was all he had now. The 141 and a cold more often than not apartment in Glasgow.
Simon finally pulled his eyes back to his cards. “If this is to make me feel better about going back to Manchester, I’m not interested. Who would I even pretend to play house with? Who would be stupid enough-”
“I wouldn't say no. Same boat as you, aye?” For a moment, Johnny's blue eyes were cold and calculating, like he wasn't coming up with the usual stupid bet but instead carefully defusing a bomb. Like the outcome of it mattered. “If I win this hand, we play pretend while we're on leave. No harm to be had, promise, scouts honor. Best case, we ain't crawling up the walls alone in our flats, worst case, I drive ya up the walls with my charming personality and you drive me up the walls with your top tier comedy.“

“I will.”TL;DR Ghost gets stuck in a timeloop of Graves's betrayal and desperately searches for a way to get out alive. The only problem is that Soap is a stubborn soul, and so is Ghost.
