He winces. One of Maya’s ideas, and while a good one, he hasn’t updated it for the better part of a decade. “Yeah? Sorry about that, we’ve been having, um...some server problems. Are you calling for legal advice, or to secure representation?”
“Oh! Um, no.” He lifts his thumb and swings it down in Trucy’s direction, tongue poking out of his mouth, and she blows a raspberry in solidarity. “I was actually calling about, um— theThemisStudentInternshipand Iwaswonderingif youhadanyspotsavailable.”
“The what.”
A quick, staticky inhale, then: “ARE YOU TAKING INTERNS RIGHT NOW?!”
He recoils, cringing away from the phone, and Trucy whistles long and loud. “Wow,” she says, eyes dazzled.

Summary
A few months after AA6/SOJ, Apollo is forced to confront his past once more when Lamiroir is accused of murder during a concert in the Kingdom of Khura’in. Meanwhile, Trucy “coincidentally” visits just in time to assist him on his case, everyone and their mom is holding back secrets, and Apollo’s relationship with Nahyuta only seems to have worsened in the aftermath of the revolution.
But more importantly, how can Apollo save Lamiroir, without a Seance or an autopsy report to support his case?
