My eyes lazily traversed the skies, following after the birds freely flying in the azure expanse above. With a sigh, I replied, "I told you before. I hate it."
Ryuuen chuckled wryly, eyes gleaming with intrigue. Of course my answer only made him more interested. That was just the kind of person he was. "Why? Because it's bad?"
"No." I glanced back at him, lips curling into a cynical, knowing smile. "Because it works every damn time."

Ratio winces. “Must you be so crude? If you need me to engage in physical activity with you, then yes. But that’s not the main point here. If my presence will heal you, then we must capitalize on this precious opportunity your vacation has given you and make immediate changes to accommodate your needs.”
“...So you are saying you’re going to fuck me senseless—”
“No, you imbecile!” Ratio scowls, eyes narrowing into a glare. “I’m asking you to move in with me!”
“What,” Aventurine says so blandly, so blindly that he chokes on thin air. He stops to pause and breathe, focusing on not dying from lack of oxygen because- “What the fuck?”
Or in which Aventurine is suffering from the side effects of the Nihility and Ratio’s grand solution is to ask the gambler to move in with him. Aventurine has no idea how this thing called domesticity works, but hey, at least they’re working together again.

Ratio smothers his own face with his hand. “Why do I even bother entertaining these whims of yours?” A deep sigh accompanies his rhetorical question. “I don’t know what it is you’re expecting, but I assure you, there is nothing interesting about my dreams.”
“Are you sure about that?”
Ratio pauses. He lowers his hand and stares at Aventurine for a moment. His usually steady gaze is now quivering slightly with hesitation and caution.
Aventurine’s smile widens. Bingo.
