Summary
“Okay, here we go,” Dax said, half to Jak and half to himself. His hands were shaking. “You first, then I follow.”
This was crazy. He was crazy. He couldn’t do this. He had to do this. Or it was all for nothing.
“On my count,” he shouted, remembering this part from a movie he watched months ago. Was that the one where the good guys died at the end? “Number of Muses in Sandover.”
Jak nodded once.
Daxter gulped twice.
“One— Banzai!”
---
Breaking into the Krimzon Guard's Fortress wasn't so hard as a two-foot-something furry who could squeeze into tight places and pass for a very confused stray animal if he ever got caught. Gaining access to the lowest levels of this hellhole and tracking down his best friend had been a lot harder, but with time and luck and a some stealthing for information and a whole hell of a lot more forward preparation, even that had gone smoothly enough. It was the part where he and Jak both got out of this daring escape in one piece that was turning out to be the really hard part.

Bookmarker's Notes
Sometimes it’s fun to read someone else’s commentary. With each insertion, it’s a toss-up whether it’ll be ‘oh, I hadn’t thought of that…’ or ‘that’s what I was thinking!!’

Summary
As Maddie watches Danny watch the ghost, she sees how relaxed his shoulders are, the soft smile playing on his lips. He looks at Cujo with fondness, the picture of a boy and his dog. A human and their pet.
For all her focus has been on her ghost hunting, how has she missed her son growing up? How has she not noticed the way he’s grown into his body: lean muscle, comfortable slouch, a confident set to his shoulders. The last she’d looked, really looked, he’d seemed so small and meek.
How long has she observed Danny Phantom, studying that same figure?

Low-key reveal one-shot. Just Maddie finally looking at her kid for the first time in a long time and realizing that she does and doesn’t recognize him

Jensen once drove a humvee through a night rocket attack in Afghanistan with no batteries in his NVGs. This is probably worse.

Bookmarker's Notes
Thoroughly concussed Jensen making his way through the jungle solo. At least there are hallucinations to keep him company some of the time

Maiko Stories That Theoretically Share a Continuity But Don't Like to Make Eye-Contact with Each Other by Loopy
Fandom: Avatar: The Last Airbender
05 Jun 2021
Summary
Like it says, these Maiko stories all happen together. But their ties are limited to very vague references and they're all designed to be stand-alone stories. The shared continuity is just a little bonus for people who like that kind of thing, and if you squint there's even a bit of an overall progression.
