Summary
Peter had been exposed for who he truly was, his identity and backstory broadcasted to the world. They’d turned on him, called him a villain, a killer, a monster even after all the good he had done.
Exposed as Hydra to be more specific, Peter didn’t know how or by who, but it was discovered that Peter was born and raised by Hydra. Raised to be a killing machine, and despite saving the world from Thanos he was considered Public Enemy #1.
He was tired of saving the world, tired of constantly pushing himself to prove to himself that he was good. He was so fucking tired. So he decided to leave, what good would come from staying anyway?
And he does, Peter leaves and finds another universe, one where he can put his superhero life behind him. One where he can just be, and maybe find friendship and even love along the way.

Peter just wants someone to acknowledge his existence, to look him in the eye and say "Peter Parker exists". So when he tries to tell his friends, team red, his name, its not surprising when it all goes to shit. Damn his Parker luck and damn Doctor Strange.
Though maybe getting sent to another universe isn't all bad, maybe he can build a new life for himself. One with his real name and this cute guy that visits the bar he works at

Peter had the gauntlet in his hand, Thanos was barreling towards him. He saw only one option at that moment.
He slipped the Gauntlet onto his hand, felt the power that was coursing through him, and did the only thing he knew he could do in that moment.
Peter snapped his fingers, wishing that Thanos and his army would disappear, and that the Avengers would be safe.
