    It’d been about a year.

    It’d been a year since Tommy left the greater SMP, and truthfully, he was better for it. Everything happened and moved so quickly, and when he was younger it was so much easier to keep up with, but now, after everything, it was better that he was gone. It was a few months after his revival, a few months after his attempt on Dream’s life, a few months after Ghostbur—

    Yeah.

    He was better now, though.

    He walked and walked for days, he knew every inch of this server; knew whose territories were where, knew how to avoid the eyes of those who had decided to keep theirs on him. He’d gotten surprisingly good at staying under the radar, he kind of wondered why he hadn’t started doing that in the first place. Tommy felt bad, of course, leaving without saying goodbye wasn’t really his style, but it was for the best; for him and for everyone else. There could be no room to fuck this up for himself, no room for error.

    He left a little after midnight and he walked.

    He was doing better now.

Fucking kid won"t tell us his name," Dream carried on like nothing had happened, and from beside Techno, Wilbur started wheezing like he was dying. "I think he"s twelve or thirteen. Wind magic, he"s quick and real snarky, very malnourished, blind-"

    "Wait, blind?" Techno peered harder at the communicator. Wilbur stopped laughing. "How the hell is he able to slip by you then?"

    "Uses the air currents like feelers, I think," Dream"s breath was coming heavier as he carried on running. "Gets an idea of where things are in relation to him. He doesn"t always get it right, sometimes there are cracks in things big enough to feel like an escape route and he slams into a wall. Or he doesn"t angle close enough to the ground and trips on things. He"s uh-" Dream flipped the communicator around, and Techno blinked as Bad flew through the air, screeching the whole way. "He"s slippery."

    Tommyinnit leads one of the worst double lives in history. After his parents death Tommy was quick to take care of himself, and soon his close friend as well. He became a vigilante because he was never able to have the same opportunities considering his financial condition. So as a remedy he gets a grant based internship with a highly respected corporation. The very corporation that helps with any legal work that heroes face, meaning Tommy is surrounded by the people trying to catch him for the better part of most days. His biggest issue now is for them to never find out, and to do the occasional coffee run.

    I read a Hero fic with Tommy as a vigilante and fell in love with the idea.

    (Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I"m laughing at it, I find it funny-)

    In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.

    After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone"s head.

    So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.

    (and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)
