Summary
Evan “Buck” Buckley is done trying to build his family in the order that society told him. Grown up job, then partner, then forever home, then kids. He has the grown up job, but the partner part hasn’t been going well. The home thing can be worked on, but Buck wants kids now. Good thing he could do it on his own.
Of course he didn’t expect to meet the most amazing Alpha his first week back at work after becoming a parent. Or for all of the trouble that would follow. At least he has said amazing Alpha.

“What do you mean I-” The man's eyes widened. “Are you… have you lived through this day before?”
“Have you ?” Buck retorted.
The man raised an eyebrow. “I asked you first.”
“And I asked you second,” Buck countered.
He chuckled softly. “Okay, yeah. Eighteen times and counting.”
Buck couldn't tear his eyes away from him. It seemed like the feeling was mutual. Here they stood, in the middle of a street that was bustling with people, and it was like everyone else had disappeared, leaving them both in a world of their own.
“Me too,” Buck breathed out, a small smile pulling at the corner of his lips. “What's your name?”
“Tommy Kinard,” the man said, extending his hand.

Summary
Tommy has always been able to see ghosts.
Usually, they stick around for a few days or weeks, maybe several months before they get what they need to move on. There was one ghost, however, who appeared when Tommy was young and seemed to be unable to get the closure he needed to let go and so he just… never left.
He got used to it, after a while, and Daniel became a consistent companion throughout his life.
